The Wood has been cleaned sanded then finished with a satin Poly. These pieces have a good weight to them with the 1.5" thick reclaimed wood. They are great for many uses around the house as side tables, extra seating as well as a simple minimal coffee tables. Felt pads are placed under table for smooth moving also leaving no marks on the floor
